Nippon-ya confectionery shop

SUGGESTIONS: Put the box in the fridge before munching.

PRICE: $$ (Expensive for candy) S$14+

FOOD: Yummy

I bought this candy at Central Mall's Nippon-Ya today. It is freeze-dried grapes encased in white chocolate. When I think of white chocolate, I would usually think of extreme sweetness because of the high milk content. However, this was nicely balanced out by the sour freeze-dried grape within the chocolate. Before I refrigerated it, the chocolate was a little too soft for my taste. Thus, I refrigerated my box. Nippon-Ya has quite a variety of prettily wrapped Japanese confectionery that aren't available at the nearby Meidi-ya. I love Meidi-ya but now, I will also pay a visit to Nippon-Ya when I am in the area.
